This survey is primarily for yoga teachers in the Satyananda Yoga tradition teaching yoga for children.

Undertaken with Swami Niranjanananda's support, it is proposed to conduct a survey of yoga teachers throughout the world with the aim of developing a systematic and consistent approach to teaching yoga for children.

The survey will be conducted in sections. Each section will be introduced individually to focus attention on that aspect of teaching yoga for children.

Each section will be developed as part of a consultative process which will:

1. Promote reading, ideas and online discussion.

2. Develop cross fertilisation and sharing of ideas.

3. Collect the considered responses of participants as they complete the relevant section of the survey.

4. Analyse survey responses to create a resource base of information which will then be shared back with the community.

5. Develop a teaching program with curriculum and resources for the different situations in which yoga is taught to children.
